Department of Mechanical Engineering

The department of Mechanical Engineering was approved by AICTE, affiliated to DOTE and was established in the year 2009. We offer a three-year full time diploma programme in Civil Engineering with an intake of 120 and Part time 30. A department flourishes in academics and in extracurricular activities only with the strength, support and guidance of its knowledgeable and experienced faculties. Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics and material science of analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical system is the branch of engineering that involves the production and usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is one of the oldest broadest engineering disciplines.

The department of evolved a comprehensive students centric learning approach, designed to add significant values to the learner, understands in an integrated manner through workshops, laboratory sessions, assignments, seminar, projects and independent study. To enlighten the mechanical brains at our campus, the department has inculcated the best of the industry’s practices through its syllabus. Our Mechanical Engineers are the wizards, who develop physical systems and devices to address needs with a futuristic vision. Many inventions of these intellects have changed the course of life adding sophistication.

Modernized foundry, smithy, CNC lab and welding lab, well equipped special machines lab have been established in our department for the welfare of the students. Students get practical training about turning, thread cutting, knurling, drilling and facing at lathe section. The advanced software tools like PRO-E, CAM, CADD and CATIA are available in our lab enables the students to develop the design and modeling knowledge
